​What a wonderful day it is for all to celebrate and honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.! His teachings and words have touched, and continue to touch, countless lives. He has led the way for people of all ethnicities to be closer to obtaining the unalienable rights that are promised in the United States' Declaration of Independence. However, it is unfortunate, and quite heart breaking, to see that some things have not changed for the better despite how much time has already passed. So many things that Martin Luther King Jr. have said still applies today.

 "I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
