© Michelle Chan Wow, it's 2013 already! Where does the time go? With another year behind us, and one standing before us, does it mean it's time to... Re-evaluate what we have done this past year, or up until this point in our lives? Create or strive for new goals? Work on improving our relationships? Find new challenges? Put all that has happened in the past (year) behind us and allow ourselves to have a fresh start? Usually, the first step is the hardest. While many of us may want changes to occur in our lives (i.e. to be better at something, to change a career/job, to quit a bad habit, to seek help), it is often difficult to take action. It is much easier to think of reasons for why it cannot be, than to plan a course of action or take that leap of faith into the unknown. So with your new goals, resolutions, or hopes in mind, what can you do to take that first step? Not a leap, just a tiny first step. Imagine having to walk across a pond, and setting a stepping stone down in front and taking that one step. One stone, one step, one at a time. So, with that, what will your first "stepping stone" look like? Virtual cheers to everyone, for a year filled with new experiences and adventures! "If you don't go after what you want, you'll never have it. If you don't ask, the answer is always no. If you don't step forward, you're always in the same place." -Nora Roberts
